What stays on your device

Your reading settings — the subjects you follow, font size and theme — are stored on your device.

The offline Truyện shelf keeps downloaded chapters on the device so they can be read without a connection.

What the app sends, and to whom

The app has no account and asks for no personal details. What does leave the device is what these Google SDKs send:

Firebase Crashlytics — crash reporting

When the app crashes it sends a stack trace, the relevant application state, point-in-time metadata about the device, and an installation identifier generated for the crash. This is what lets a bug be found and fixed.

Google Analytics for Firebase — usage measurement

Collects app-lifecycle events such as screen views and sessions, an app-instance identifier and the device advertising identifier, and derives an approximate location from a masked IP address. It never receives your precise location — the app requests no location permission and contains no location code.

Cloud Firestore — article delivery

Articles and Truyện chapters are fetched from Google Cloud Firestore. Fetching content necessarily reveals your IP address to Google, as loading any web page does.

Google Mobile Ads — iOS only

The iOS build shows banner ads through the Google Mobile Ads SDK, which collects the advertising identifier, IP address and in-app interaction events in order to select and measure ads.

The Android build ships with the ads SDK switched off: its start-up component is removed from the app package, so no ad is ever requested and no ad is ever shown.
