Terms of Service

Last updated 28 August 2026. These terms cover the BestShot mobile app on iOS and Android.

Who we are

BestShot is published by CÔNG TY TNHH HOTALAB (HOTALAB COMPANY LIMITED), enterprise code 0111618627, registered in Hà Nội, Việt Nam. Contact: support@bestshot.app.

Using the app means you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the app.

The app is free

BestShot is free to download and free to use. There is no paywall, no subscription and no premium tier. Every feature is available to everyone. The app is funded by advertising, as described in the Privacy Policy.

Deleting things is permanent — read this part

BestShot's purpose is to help you remove files. This carries real risk, and we want it stated plainly rather than buried:

• Nothing is deleted without your confirmation. The app shows you what it found and what it will remove, and waits for you to confirm.
• Once removed, files are gone. Depending on your device and settings, deleted items may pass through a system "Recently Deleted" area for a limited time. That behaviour belongs to your operating system, not to us, and we cannot recover anything for you.
• Suggestions are suggestions. BestShot groups photos it believes are similar and can propose which to keep. This is automated judgement and it will sometimes be wrong. Review before confirming.
• Back up first. Especially before large cleanups or before merging contacts.

You are responsible for what you choose to delete.

Permissions

The app asks for access to your photo library, contacts and calendar. Each is used only for the corresponding cleanup features, is processed on your device, and can be withdrawn at any time in system settings. Features that depend on a withdrawn permission stop working; nothing else changes.

Acceptable use

Do not use BestShot to break the law, and do not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile or redistribute it except where that right cannot be excluded by law.

Ownership

The app, its name and its design belong to CÔNG TY TNHH HOTALAB. Your photos, videos, contacts and calendar entries remain entirely yours — we never receive them, and nothing in these terms grants us any rights over them.

Availability and changes

We may update, change or discontinue the app or any feature at any time. We may update these terms; the date at the top of this page reflects the current version, and continuing to use the app after a change means you accept it.

No warranty

BestShot is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted, error free, or that its analysis will be accurate in every case.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, CÔNG TY TNHH HOTALAB is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, in which case those exclusions do not apply to you.

App store terms

If you obtained BestShot from the Apple App Store or Google Play, that store's own terms also apply to your download and use. Apple and Google are not parties to these terms and have no obligation to provide support for the app.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Việt Nam.
